'I Love Us' Makes its Red Carpet Hollywood Premiere

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, September 15, 2021 ) HOLLYWOOD, CA - It was all glitz and glam last night at the Harmony Gold Theatre in Hollywood as the stars turned out to walk the red carpet for the premiere and screening of a new film by Danny A. Abeckaser, ‘I Love Us’.

The film stars Abeckaser as Sammy Silver, a man who struggles to end his criminals ways in exchange for married life after he falls for a single mother, played by actress Katie Cassidy. The film also stars Courtney Lopez, Robert Davi, and ‘Orange is the New Black’ star, Jackie Cruz.

Abeckaser made his film debut as an actor in 2010’s ‘Holy Rollers’, starring alongside Jesse Eisenberg and Justin Bartha. He followed that up with ‘The Iceman’, in which he co-starred with Ray Liotta and Winona Ryder. He then received the opportunity of a lifetime when he was cast in Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Wolf of Wallstreet’, and again in Scorsese’s Netflix picture, ‘The Irishman’. Abeckaser made his directorial debut with ‘First We Take Brooklyn’ in 2018. ‘I Love Us’ marks the fourth film he has directed.

Step and Repeat LA created an 8’ tall by 12’ wide step and repeat for the film’s premiere last night, and also provided red carpet and lighting. ‘I Love Us’ is set to be released Friday September 17th in limited release.
