Philanthropist Hosts Polo-Themed Luncheon Benefiting LA Community Arts Programs

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, October 06, 2021 ) PACIFIC PALISADES, CA - The sun was shining and the weather was picturesque at the Will Rogers State Historic Park on Saturday, September 25th in Pacific Palisades. Folks gathered ‘round for Tyron D. Bland’s 2021 Polo Reception luncheon, a charity fundraising event where all proceeds go to the Los Angeles Community Arts Programs.

Bland, who currently serves as the Head of Government Affairs at the Creative Artist Agency, or CAA (one of the biggest talent agencies on the planet), has over ten years of experience in philanthropic service. This year he has chosen to host a Polo event luncheon, accompanied by both private and corporate sponsors, to raise awareness and funds, which will be directed to non-profit organizations that directly impact the Los Angeles art community.

The Foundation’s chief aim is to aid regional arts programs in reaching all segments of their communities, and to also raise public awareness on the economic impact that art has on California and the nation at large.

Step and Repeat LA was commissioned to create a customized Media Wall for the event’s photo-op backdrop. Measuring at 8’ tall and 12’ wide, the wall was constructed using three wooden panels that were brought together with a seamless fabric print stretched onto the face of the wall, and held up by A-frame jack supports on the reverse side.

The matte-finished fabric was the perfect choice for the full-color print, which featured the image of a beautiful sun rising over a green field, along with an outline of a Polo rider and horse galloping from left to right side of the image. Colored logos of event sponsors were arranged throughout, with the T.D. Bland Family Foundation’s signature logo placed in the upper-centered portion of the layout.

To add a unique touch, Step and Repeat LA also provided a cobalt blue carpet, in place of the traditional red carpet, to go with the event’s blue theme.
