The owners are a retired medical professional and a practicing attorney who both have roots on the East Coast. They chose the location because of the proximity and ability to walk to a local wine bar and organic food restaurant and market.

The project is completed in the now trending Farmhouse, or Americana style. It has an open floor plan, indoor outdoor vibe with a fully retracting glass wall and many industrial elements, including French Oak floors that harken back to a Chicago warehouse.
