DAP Guest At Chamber Of Commerce Community Awards

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, May 04, 2016 ) Grand Terrace, California -- On April 28, 2016 Co-founders of Drug Alternative Program, Clifford and Freddie Harris attended the Annual Community Awards and Installation Dinner in Loma Linda, California. Along with the Co-founders for DAP, Melodi Hamilton-Velez, DAP's Office Manager attended to take part in the event.

The vision of Loma Linda Chamber of Commerce is to foster an enhanced public perception of Loma Linda and the Chamber as a business community that believes in and practices ethical values.This vision compliments the mission of the LLCC since it seeks to create, promote, and preserve a competitive free-enterprise system that facilitates economic growth and development.

The event was held at the Relands Country Club, located in Redlands California. The event began with a social and then progressed into a dinner and live auction.

As a non-profit 501(c) 3, Drug Alternative Program has been an active member of the Chamber of Commerce for 15 years. Many people appreciate the fact that DAP uses a commercial lawn business to help fund the necessary expenses that incur with running such an intense program. Dr. Richard Hart, President of Loma Linda University, stated that "DAP are partners by beautifying the campus lawn to help ‘make man whole,' which is the mission of the University." Loma Linda is well-known in world for its prestigious medical program and facilities.

Ganim Hanna, President, Loma Linda Broadcasting Network (LLBN) received the Chamber of Commerce "Citizen of the Year" award. The television show Drugs Close to Home, hosted by both Clifford and Freddie Harris is aired on LLBN.

Other known participants were Najwa Medina and her staff, which will be catering the graduation dinner on May 7, 2016 for DAP.
