Battlefield Earth Will Be Newly Releasing This Coming Father's Day

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, May 18, 2016 ) Hollywood, CA -- "Battlefield Earth" will be newly releasing this coming Father's Day. From marketing research done in preparation for the book's release, President Galaxy Press John Goodwin noted a peculiar statistic – the number of times fans had read the book.

"When asked how many times they had read the book," noted Goodwin, "I was amazed by the number of fans who claimed to have read the book multiple times." Several different posts on Facebook had found that fans were very dedicated to the book with enthusiastic responses about the story line and its appeal to readers of all ages.

Surveys were then done on several hundred existing fans of "Battlefield Earth" in preparation for the upcoming release of the new edition. It was noted that a majority had indicated they would purchase a new edition of the book if there were substantial new content in the book. Editors in reviewing these results then provided an additional 50 pages of handwritten notes, lyrics and the last public interview done with Mr. Hubbard. But it was when the question asking how many times fans had read the book that indicated just how popular "Battlefield Earth" really is.

Further research was done to ascertain why fans read the book multiple times. "As the frequency of times the book had been read by fans was so abnormally high," Goodwin stated, "we wanted to establish what about the book had that effect on its readers." Consistent feedback summarized into some basic fan categories from "finding something new to enjoy each time," to "the book being eye opening on the ‘what if?' of what would happen if we contacted an alien race that did not have peaceful intent," and, "the action being fast-paced and engaging throughout."

Having established that fans have read and continue to read "Battlefield Earth," Goodwin concluded, "We look forward to engaging fans of the book to introduce their friends to one of the best science fiction books ever written."

The New York Times best seller, "Battlefield Earth" by L. Ron Hubbard, originally released in 1982, is about to be relaunched Father's Day 2016 with a new edition of the book containing 50 pages of additional features including never-before-published author handwritten notes, the last public interview done by Mr. Hubbard, and more.
