Both women have enjoyed being mothers and raising their own family. With their own children now grown, they decided to launch a business together selling physical products on Amazon. With their interest in parenting and babies they easily agreed to launch a brand line of products that might help new parents cut some time off their chores so as to be able to spend more time enjoying their family. The first product they chose to offer in the BubbyBabies™ line was their set of soft silicone baby bibs.
These innovative silicone bibs with food-catcher-pockets were released in September 2015. According to co-owner Debbie Dumonceaux, the easy to clean, very safe material was an ideal choice to replace old-fashioned cloth bibs. They are sold as a set of two, one bright yellow, one red, both gender neutral but attractive colors. Debbie adds that the reviews have been phenomenal. "This quality silicone is so light-weight and flexible that some parents leave the bibs on their child during playtime. We have even had reports that after mealtime, the baby doesn't want the bib to be removed." She points out that they can be simply rinsed off in the sink, air-dried or wiped dry, and they are ready to be re-used within minutes.
Having gotten their feet wet in their new business with the bibs, the two partners were ready to research and launch their second product in the BubbyBabies™ line. Having recently announced the addition of a plush, pastel plaid baby blanket as their next product, they wanted to reward their loyal customers by also offering a new lower price on the bib set. Lori explains this latest price drop is to make way for new stock, and also to celebrate the success of their bibs and the expansion of their brand.
