Interesting Facts about People, Animals and More Can Be Found at New Website GoWeirdFacts

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, February 28, 2014 )
Los Angeles, CA -- GoWeirdFacts, a blog that is filled with interesting facts about people, history, animals, science and much more, has just launched its new and entertaining website. The blog features a huge variety of weird and fun facts that are all amazingly true.

For those who enjoy reading unusual stories about people who are doing things that are silly, crazy and just plain odd, GoWeirdFacts is a one-stop weird facts blog where they can spend hours browsing through the impressive number of stories that probably won’t end up in a typical newspaper. To make it as easy as possible for people to find interesting stories to read, the home page is devoted to featuring a variety of short and weird stories about several different unusual topics.

For example, one section of the new site includes many interesting facts about animals. One of the posts that has been getting a lot of attention from readers is about 60-year-old male tortoise named Susi who fell in love with a lilac-colored slipper. According to the story, something about the purple slipper caught Susi’s eye 30 years ago, and for the next three decades they were never apart. Recently, when Susi’s owner took him to a safari park, he met an 80-year-old female tortoise, and left the slipper behind.

Another section that readers are already spending a lot of time visiting focuses on unusual accidents. One story describes a weird accident that has happened to a couple in Indiana—in fact, it has taken place 11 times. Over the past 30 decades, the story notes, the McCall’s home in Indianapolis has been hit by a vehicle 11 times. Fortunately, no one was hurt in late December, 2013, when a car last crashed into the family’s dining room. As the article notes, the McCall family has applied for a stop sign to be installed near their home; in the meantime, they are hoping that a twelfth car will never hit the house.

GoWeirdFacts also features stories about funny people who are doing things that many others will never do. A recent blog post tells the story about Daniel Suelo, an American who lives in the Utah wilderness with no money at all. The 52-year-old retiree has lived there for over 13 years with no cash and no identification of any kind.

Anybody who would like to learn more about GoWeirdFacts is welcome to visit the new blog at any time; there, they can be entertained while reading about the many unusual things that are taking place in the world. They can also visit and “like” the blog’s Facebook page.
