Through their Facebook page, Great Case has a goal to get every overweight american walking 10,000 steps every day, which is around 1 hour of walking. 7 hours of walking every week is the basis for getting the cardiovascular system functioning, because for a lot of adult americans, the amount of weekly exercise is zero right now. " Yes we endorse the Paleo way of nutrition,"says Tiffany Paul, " we firmly believe that if we eat a diet of mainly fruit, vegetables, grass-fed meat, fish, nuts and seeds and take out the processed sugar and carbohydrates, take out the grains, that our bodies will respond immediately. Just by replacing all soft drinks and sugary soda pop with good old water, will reduce your weight over a month."
Walking is the primary exercise that humans were designed for, and humans have been walking for nearly a million years. With so many gadgets and video games available, humans have simply stopped doing what they were designed to do and this is a big part of the obesity problem. " We just want to get people moving, 10,000 steps a day is our goal, iif they use our iPhone 5 armband to listen to music while they walk, great, but our real goal is to get people to commit to the 10,000 steps a day," says Kris Paul.
