Great Case Introduces Their iPhone 5 Sports Armband For Running In This Short Video.
(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, August 12, 2014 ) Beverly Hills, Los Angeles -- New Zealand iPhone 5 armband company Great Case is weighing in on the current obesity epidemic here in the U.S, with 2 thirds of the adult population, now classified as obese. Although the 2014 statistics showed that Mexico had taken the top spot from the U.S, its still a problem right across america, that is now being addressed.
"We now have conclusive proof that sugar is as addictive as cocaine and heroin," says Great Case CEO, "if someone was putting that in your breakfast cereal, of course you are going to want more and more of it, so why is our government allowing this to happen?"
Its a sentiment echoed by Dr Robert Lustig, whose book,"Fat Chance:The bitter truth about sugar, began making waves last year, when Dr Lustig claimed that it was sugar, and not fat causing obesity in america. Dr Lustig has conducted research on children for over 16 years, and the effects of sugar on their central nervous systems, metabolism and disease, and his conclusion is that its the rivers of Pepsi and Coca Cola that are contributing to this obesity epidemic.
"The truth is that our government and the food industry are so closely tied to each other, that even though our government is aware of how deadly sugar is, they just aren't prepared to do anything to jeopardize their revenue," says Kris Paul,"its up to us to reclaim our health, and I believe the best way to do that, is through Paleo nutrition. We have to get back to eating whole foods, real foods, like grass-fed meat, vegetables, fruit nuts and seeds, and stop consuming sugary drinks and sugary snacks. Get out and walk every day, even just for an hour and you will feel the health benefits within a very short time."
Kris and Tiffany Paul, both Paleo nutrition enthusiasts, began making their iPhone 5 armband 5 months ago and recently launched it on Amazon.com. "We are happy that exercise is making a comeback, and especially that kids in america are getting moving," says Tiffany Paul.
Great Case currently has a campaign going on their Facebook page, to encourage people to walk 10,000 steps or 1 hour a day.
