A Really Cool Animated Video Introducing The iPhone 5 Armband For Running By GREAT CASE.
(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, August 18, 2014 ) Beverly Hills, Los Angeles -- A kiwi couple living in China, have unexpectedly had a career path change, partly due to their love of exercise. One day while on their normal jog, Kris Paul broke the strap on his iPhone 5 armband, and as it was the third in a short time, his wife Tiffany Paul suggested that he make his own.
Since they were in China, the land of manufacturing, Kris started to look into it, and eventually sourced a factory, and he and Tiffany set about designing their own iPhone 5 armband for running.
"After we had got some of our samples back, I looked at one in particular and thought, what a Great Case, and that was it, we had our name," says Kris Paul, "plus there is the parallel with the Great Wall."
There is a stigma about Chinese made products but according to Kris, western standards are now being applied to factories all across China now, and the quality of products being produced, rivals their western counterparts.
"We had a stroke of luck in sourcing our neoprene for the strap," says Tiffany Paul, head of design and research, " we noticed the logo of a famous wetsuit on the factory next to ours, and after some serious lobbying, they agreed to let us use their offcuts, which means we got AAA+ certified neoprene to use in our Great Case, we couldn't be happier."
The nature of their non disclosure agreement, meant Great Case was unable to say which wetsuit company they had partnered with, however Tiffany did say that they had been making wetsuits for nearly 100 years.
Some of the special features of the Great Case armband include dual strap options, to fit any size arm, male or female, it also has a safety reflective band, bordering the phone for extra safety whilst jogging at night, as well as a convenient key holder, to stash away, that house or apartment key.
"This is a really cool, inexpensive way to bring your iPhone with you, when you workout, which I think a lot of people are wanting to do now," says Great Case CEO Kris Paul.
