An Animated Video From Kiwi Company GREAT CASE To Introduce Their Sports iPhone 5 Armband.
(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, August 19, 2014 ) Beverly Hills, Los Angeles -- New Zealand is a very small but very beautiful country with a population of around 4.2 million people, so when Great Case's Kris and Tiffany Paul found themselves in China, with a population of 1.2 billion people, it took a little getting used to. Kris was there as a musician with a New Zealand band, SOLIDAZ, playing in Shangri-la Hotel, when he had the idea, from his wife, to start making iPhone 5 armbands.
The couple worked together on the idea for the next 2 months, sourcing materials, and working with a designer until nearly 3 months later they had a finished product. "We were incredibly lucky," says CEO Kris Paul, "because we were all but finished on the case, but we needed to find a high quality neoprene for the strap, and one day on the way to our factory, I noticed the logo of a world famous wetsuit company right next door."
After some serious haggling, and a trip back to the U.S to meet with the owners, an agreement was struck which would allow Great Case to use all of the wetsuit companies neoprene offcuts. As part of the non disclosure agreement, Great Case would not be able to use the wetsuit companies name in any promotion. "That's fine with us," Says Tiffany Paul, " we get to use the worlds best neoprene, and they no longer have waste, which is a win win situation for both of us."
The iPhone 5 armband for running has become a popular exercise tool for those that don't want to be separated from their phone while exercising, but also people are simply using their iphone as an ipod and listening to music while walking or jogging.
The Great Case introductory model is silver and has dual strap options, so that no matter what the users size arm is, a tight fit can be achieved. There is also a convenient key holder and a reflective band which borders the phone, to provide some extra safety during night time walking or jogging.
"We wanted to make a really functional case that looked good as well,"says Tiffany,"and I honestly believe we have done that." Great Case recently launched their product on Amazon.com and have been receiving 5 star reviews.
