(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, August 29, 2014 ) Los Angeles, California -- Chris Moal, Trained Sports CEO and fitness enthusiast, learned about one of the benefits of agility training through a research he has just read. Being a fitness buff himself and the head of a new sports equipment company, he continues to influence others through his knowledge on agility training. Moal just recently read on a research that positively raises the value of agility training.
The 2013 research was done in different military communities where they wanted to see the effects of agility training on cognitive and physical performance. The study had forty-one subjects who were undergoing military technical training. The subjects were grouped into two and underwent training for six weeks.
One group participated in regular military physical training that included running and calisthenics. The other group had the same amount of exercise as the first group but used agility training for their major mode of training. Before and after the subjects' training, the subjects completed various cognitive and physical tests.
The results showed that the agility training group had significant improvements in most of the tests and the researchers concluded that agility training is as effective or more effective in physical training but more effective than standard physical training in improving cognitive and physical performance such as vigilance, memory and physical agility.
"This just gives me even more pride in talking to people about agility training and how they can benefit from it. I am sure that the research can be extended to other groups of people, not just the military," says Moal. Trained Sports is a provider of sports equipment and is proud to introduce their agility ladder to the market.
The agility ladder is available at Amazon.
