(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, September 09, 2014 ) Los Angeles, California -- For most sports, agility really pays a lot according to Chris Moal, Trained Sports CEO. Luckily, there are some activities that can help sports players and regular people improve and develop their agility. Chris Moal shares some activities that can help enhance a person's agility.
Figure Runs need a person to run across a course in line with a figure diagram. Usually, cones are used in order to spot the figures that are set in different sizes. Moal says that it is helpful to vary each figure's height. A player can also perform a lateral sprint by placing two cones apart from each other making a straight line. Then at the second cone's right, another cone is placed. This is where a player should run in a straight line and then side step to the next cone. This drill should be performed several times.
Another exercise to increase agility is to side step through a circular lap. This is where a person has to side step the curved area of a lap and run through the straight part.
"Lastly, using the agility ladder is probably the most effective way to improve a person's agility," says Moal. "This equipment is particularly designed to make the best out of a player," he adds.
Moal continues that because agility training improves endurance, the body becomes more capable of managing a lot of activities for longer periods of time resulting to reduced chances of fatigue injury. When a person is agile, flexibility is also improved so that it is less probable that a player will experience injuries.
Trained Sports agility ladder is available on Amazon.
