A New Zealand Company Called GREAT CASE Introduces Their iPhone 5 Armbands.
(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, September 11, 2014 ) Beverly Hills, Los Angeles -- 6 months ago, Kris Paul and his wife Tiffany were living in the Shangri-La hotel, Chengdu, China while Kris was playing in a band there in the irish pub. Although from New zealand, Kris has been part of Kiwi band SOLIDAZ for nearly 18 years, playing in 5 star hotels throughout Asia and the middle east and has only returned to NZ a couple of times in the last decade. The couple are both health and nutrition enthusiasts, and exercise regularly with Kris and Tiffany both making use of the iPhone 5 armband while jogging. After kris had experienced 2 broken straps on 2 different armbands, his wife made the casual suggestion that kris should make his own. Not thinking too much about that comment at the time, it was a couple of weeks later that Kris had an opportunity to follow through with it. "From the time my wife gave me the suggestion," says Kris, " to the time I really started to do a bit of research into finding a way to make it happen, was really only a matter of weeks."
Within one month, they had finished the design for the actual case and just needed to source the neoprene needed for the strap. "We had a stroke of luck in that right next door to the factory where we were working on our case, was the factory for the worlds leading wetsuit company, and with a bit of haggling, we came to an arrangement," says Kris.
That arrangement included an NDA (non-disclosure agreement) which prevents Kris naming the wetsuit manufacturer, but he was able to say that this company have been making wetsuits for nearly 100 years. Since Great Case is able to use all their neoprene off cuts, they claim this is an environmentally green way to manufacture their iPhone 5 armbands.
Since the introduction of Great Case to Amazon, their product has been receiving only 5 star reviews for their product as well as for their customer service. "Its very simple," says Kris, "I answer each and every email myself, and I do it quickly so that our customers feel how important they are to us. I don't ever ask them for reviews, I just do my best to let them know that their whole experience they have on Amazon, from purchasing to delivery, is my priority."
