As far as ease of use, the learning curve was all of maybe one quarter cucumber's worth of time. After that initial journey with the cucumber, it was easy and simple enough to slice the radishes.

The ceramic blade makes for smooth slicing. Because the blade is not adjustable, no need to mess with moving parts that often can break faster.
