Los Angles Press Releases

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, October 23, 2014 ) Los Angeles, California -- Chris Moal, Trained Sports CEO, shares that speed and agility training is crucial in enhancing stamina and footwork skills, abilities important in basketball players. Moal, being the head of a sports equipment company continues to look for the importance of agility training to different athletes.
Recently, Moal has shared the importance of agility training to basketball players. In order to lower the chances of injury for basketball players, speed and agility training should be given much importance by training coaches. Since basketball is a truly dynamic sport that involves movements in different planes of motion together with rapid transitions from jogging or sprinting to jumping. This makes agility and speed very important to the sport.
Training coaches must allow their players to undergo speed and agility training for at least eight weeks to lower the risk of injury specifically on the lower extremities while at the same time enhancing players' performance. It is also crucial to focus on the players' techniques as well as the effective progression of the exercises performed instead of simply doing the exercises themselves. Technique is important in ensuring that the player is able to move in the correct position. As a result, the risk of getting injured due to stress on the joints and tissues is greatly reduced.
Moal shares that agility training is therefore important and should be included in any basketball training. Agility ladders can be used for agility training whether a simple or complex training is needed. "The use of two and more agility ladders can make training coaches design more complicated exercises for their players," Moal adds. "The good news is that agility ladders can also be used by children dreaming to be a future basketball player."
