(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, October 24, 2014 ) Los Angeles, California -- Trained Sports CEO again shares vital information on the results of agility training research. Chris Moal, the head of this new sports equipment distributor, also keeps himself up to date with the latest studies on agility training and its effects on athletes. Moal then shares this information to customers in the hopes of helping those who are into training.
In a recent study, some abilities of soccer players were evaluated after agility training. These abilities include kicking speed, strength and acceleration. The study involved 10 weeks of training on its twenty-two participants. The participants had almost the same age – 18 years old. The players were grouped into two with one as the control group and the other as the treatment group.
Both groups performed technical and tactical training, however the treatment group pursued an agility training program and the control group pursued a regular conditioning program. The agility training group performed their agility training three days in a week. The players' jumping ability, 10-m sprint and kicking speed were tested on five various instances.
The data showed that for the treatment group, there was a dramatic increase in jumping ability and acceleration after six weeks of training. The kicking speed using the dominant leg of the treatment group also increased significantly after ten weeks of training as well as their kicking speed using non-dominant leg. On the other hand, the abilities of soccer players in the control group did not change significantly. The study then concluded that an effective method of enhancing soccer players' abilities is a 10-week agility training program.
Moal says, "This study is useful for training coaches looking for training programs to improve their players' abilities including kicking speed and jumping ability. We are pleased to let everyone know that we are distributing sports equipment they can use for agility training such as our agility ladders."
Trained Sports agility ladders can be purchased on Amazon for $35.
