(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, October 31, 2014 ) Shadow Hills, CA -- The Gecobi-Man log is all about Halloween and the author gives his viewpoint of the holiday through the eyes of Gecobi-Man. The artist shows Gecobi-Girl in her angel costume and Gecobi-Kid in his ghost costume. It appears that readers like this diary and these new characters and their daily antics. These characters are personified cell phone chargers that the author created for fun that show interesting ways that Gecobi-Man saves people from dead cell phones.
Readers were treated to this Halloween blog: "Dear Diary, We finally got back home, and my owner paid the nanny – sweet lady, really, she didn't mind the extra day at all – and the boy whined a little bit but surprisingly got over it very fast. Then the daughter mentioned it was close to Halloween. That actually scared me a bit, since I didn't know if they expected me to be in costume or not, but I was pretty reassured when it became clear they had no real plans. I think the kids were disappointed though. I get the feeling their costumes were normally really elaborate, but they're tight on funds at the moment. Good thing I save them money on their electric bill every time I charge one of their phones, huh? Speaking of phones, the old guy that I'd left with the kids was very relieved to see me. Apparently his current owner had tried various ways to not have to use him again – when damage didn't stick, he would hide him in weird places and pretend to have forgotten where he was. Personally I think this is an exaggeration: he's a bit of a brat, yes, but he's not that bad. Anyway, after reassuring him I would watch out for him at least, I suddenly felt this great drain on my energy. I had charged so many things over the past week that I really needed to sleep it off. And so I will. Good night."
