(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, November 06, 2014 ) Los Angeles, CA -- One user keeps her MyPro Mandoline Slicer handy on her kitchen counter to make vegetable dishes for her family every day. She even bragged that she had made her husband's lunch salads in one go. She saved herself a lot of time by arranging all the veggies on the counter, slicing them one after the other with the MyPro, stored in a disposable lidded container, and that was it for his weekly lunches.
He had once complained that one of the carrot pieces was too large so she was happy to note that none of the veggie bits were larger than others, as they had been when slicing with a knife. He didn't want the sometimes larger pieces that are often harder to chew than the rest. That happened quite a bit when she used to have to cut them up with a knife.
She had feared that the mandoline slicer was maybe trickier to use than a knife but after a short time it proved so much more efficient than the knife and it was definitely worth its weight in gold.
She had worked out a system of sliding the MyPro Mandoline across the board, rather than letting the veggies stack up under the blade, a method that allowed her to slice a lot more of each veggie in one go.
On top of that, her husband never complained of odd size pieces any more, which definitely pleased her.
Mothers find that children especially like to have smaller food pieces on their plate because smaller is usually softer, easier to chew and fewer hard-to-chew food surprises less frequent. And smaller, easier to chew pieces allow for the sweet taste of the veggies to come through.
The MyPro does what it is supposed to do..
