(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, November 07, 2014 ) Los Angeles, California -- Agility is a requirement for most sports, says Chris Moal, CEO of new sports equipment company, Trained Sports. There are fortunately a lot of activities that can help athletes and other people develop and improve their agility. Moal here shares some of these activities that can help a person improve his agility.
One of these activities is Figure Runs. This is when a person runs along a course according to a figure diagram. Most of the time, cones are used to spot the figures set in various sizes. Moal claims that it is better to vary the figure's height.
Players can also do lateral sprints by placing two cones away from each other in a straight line. At the second cone's right, one more cone is placed. A player should then run in straight lines then side step to the next cone. Perform this drill for several times before moving to a new one.
Side stepping across a circular lap is another exercise to help improve agility. This is when a player side steps the curved part of a lap and then runs across the straight part.
"Using agility ladders is probably the best way to help improve a person’s agility. The equipment is specifically designed in order for a player to achieve good balance, coordination and strength, " Moal adds.
Moal also added that since agility training can help enhance a player's endurance, the body then becomes more flexible in handling plenty of activities for long periods of time. As a result, the body has less chances of injury.
Trained Sports is a distributor of sports equipment and one of their equipment is Trained Sports Agility Ladder.
