Customers were provided with an online form that included a color chart and asked to click on the color they would prefer for the oven mitts. At the end of the poll, Dulce Cocina hired a color expert to analyze the various color preferences and came up with the final decision. Although many other colors were polled, orange, blue and green seemed to get the most likes. More than 50% of the surveyed customers indicated that they would like to have their oven mitts in blue while 72% preferred orange. Green, which is associated with eco-friendliness, had the most likes standing at 89%.

With the additional colors, the company expects the sale to surge and is already making plans to increase the production.

The oven mitts are made from Silicone, a synthetic material made from a combination of silicon and oxygen molecules, and are more hygienic than the conventional cloth oven mitts. Silicone does not allow bacteria and other microorganisms to imbed.
