Los Angles Press Releases

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, November 24, 2014 ) Los Angeles, California -- Agility is described as the ability to change speed or direction efficiently while having complete control over his body at the same time. Obviously, not only athletes would benefit from this ability. Chris Moal of Trained Sports shares why regular people should throw agility exercises into their workout routine.
Two decades ago, the only people performing speed and agility exercises using agility ladders and other equipment included only elite athletes training under professional coaches. A decade ago, some of these techniques have leaked into the commercial fitness world. Today, these techniques are now commonly used by training instructors looking to design unique exercises for their clients.
"If you have seen people jumping over hurdles or running around cones or running across agility ladders, these people are doing agility training exercises. If you are wondering if these exercises really work or if it is something you should try, then the answer is YES. There are several benefits of incorporating agility training into your workout program," Moal explains.
According to Moal, one reason why non-athletes should do agility training is because it is fun. One reason why some people stop exercising is because they have found their routine boring. It would be difficult to do something that does not really provide any enjoyment. But if the exercise is engaging and challenging, it becomes exciting so people tend to look forward to it.
Agility training is also said to improve body awareness and skill movements. Although athletes of different levels use agility training in order to improve their sport specific skills, there is no need to be an expert athlete in order to enjoy the benefits of improved body awareness and coordination.
