(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, December 17, 2014 ) Shadow Hills, CA -- This week Step and Repeat LA traveled to a Conference in Austin,Texas where hundreds of film industry and music partners attended the IFFS and IMFCON Conference 2014. The International Film Festival Summit (IFFS) show is partnered with the International Music Festival Conference (IMFCON) which is held at the same time and location. This year it was held in Austin, Texas, Dec 7 through 9.

IFFS and IMFCON is the largest international organization representing the film festival and music festival industry. Through collaborative efforts the IFFS provides programs that drive innovation, education, and provide a critical understanding of how film festivals play a crucial role in independent film and foster growth in the music industry, arts and cinema.

The IFFS and IMFCON was founded in 2002 and provides the only annual conference & symposium for film and music festival professionals and entertainment executives to network, learn from one another, establish partnerships, and understand the latest trends in festivals and independent film and music. The mission of the IFFS and IMFCON is to promote and strengthen the global film and music festival industry through education, networking, dissemination of information, and the cultivation of high standards for the industry.

The festival had several speakers making presentations and providing useful information. Some of the speakers for the festival included: Benjamin Oberman from Film Festival Flix, Joshua Nordin of NEPS Worldwide business development and Anna Germandini Festival Director, Slamdance Film Festival.

This is the 4th year Step and Repeat LA has attended the IFFS and IMFCON Conference. Step and Repeat LA has done dozens of step and repeat backdrops for film and music festivals.
