Despite its small size, the new Brady™ USB car adapter is rated to deliver 7.2 amps and 36 watts. Delivering up to 2.4 amps on all three connection ports is enough to charge three of the most demanding cell phones or tablets simultaneously and still operate well within the USB standards. This is accomplished, in part, through pure copper USB interfaces. Pure copper provides highly reliable connections with great current carrying capacity. The result is high power potential with minimal temperature rise.
