(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, February 05, 2015 ) Los Angeles, CA -- She may be tiny, but 7-year-old Savannah Titzer was a huge hit in the most watched Super Bowl to date. Now, the rising star who captured the hearts of 115 million viewers in Always' #LikeAGirl Super Bowl ad will appear in her first feature film. In Paseo Miramar Pictures upcoming production "A Dog and Pony Show," Savannah will join pop legend Cyndi Lauper and a cast of amazing animals.
“I love animals!” exclaimed YouTube’s newest sensation, who began acting to follow in the footsteps of 9-year-old brother Maverick. “I have a Labrador retriever named Khai and a goldfish, but I really want a rabbit. Maybe I can work with a rabbit in the movie.” The happy hare lover may get that chance in "A Dog and Pony Show," which features fun circus and farm locations.
“She’s only been acting for about a year,” says Savannah's mom, Betty. “We were leaving another audition, and a producer for the Super Bowl ad spotted her. We had no idea how big that would be, and now she’s going to be in a movie with Cyndi Lauper. It’s the chance of a lifetime!” Alongside the Grammy Award winner, Savannah will join veteran actors John Kassir and Robert Miano, as well as Laura Nativo and award winning director Demetrius Navarro.
Set for an October release, the live action family film is about a world famous dog and pony act who get separated when DeeDee the dog is pursued by the evil Cruella DeVil of circus owners, Evilynne (Cyndi Lauper). The pampered pup hides out on a dysfunctional farm, where she meets a hypochondriac horse, a narcoleptic rooster, a flatulant cow that won’t give milk, and a pig with OCD. Their hilarious hijinks help DeeDee discover that there really is no place like home. For more about the film, check out www.adogandponyshowthemovie.com
When screenwriter and Paseo Miramar CEO Jerry Bryant saw Savannah at a Hollywood showcase, he cast her instantly. “I’ve worked with a lot of child actors," says Jerry, "and I think that Savannah will really go far. Given that the #LikeAGirl campaign has gone viral, with upwards of 80 million hits online, it's a pretty safe bet.
