People with old, crepey skin might lose hope in trying to reverse time. But Merika claims that HA or hyaluronic acid is a substance that hydrates the skin and makes it look fuller. HA also helps enhance collagen production and is best for use in targeting specific areas of the face like the eyes, mouth and neck. Looking for creams and serums with HA is a way to go years back, says Merika.

Caffeine is a product famous for its aroma, taste and addicting nature but never for improving the skin. This of course does not mean drinking cup after cup of coffee and drinking it in moderation is still highly recommended. Surprisingly, applying caffeine directly into the skin can help minimize the appearance of stretch marks because of its ability to constrict blood vessels. Merika says coffee is best used for the back and the legs.
