(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, March 28, 2015 ) Los Angeles, California -- Trained Sports is a sports equipment distributor with their Agility Ladder as one of their sports tools. Though the tool is not so common with non-athletes, players and training coaches commonly use the equipment to enhance their player’s agility, speed and balance. Chris Moal, the CEO of Trained Sports, reveals some tips in using agility ladders for training.

Athletes who need to improve their speed and agility can benefit from agility training and are expected to maximize their skills on their game. Agility ladders look like flat ladders and is used for various exercises. When used in drills in addition to other equipment, they are used to help improve a player's balance, speed, body control and coordination.

In order to make the best out of agility training using an agility ladder, Moal says that a player should have minimum contact with the ground. They should also stay on ground with the balls of their feet.

An athlete can improve his speed and balance by performing lateral bunny hops. The in-out shuffle is also another drill in order to improve balance and speed. If foot speed and linear speed is to be improved, doing the hop scotch drill can be helpful, says Moal. "If a coach wants to improve an athlete's running skills, they can practice with the hip-knees drill. It is important that a player have good form while performing the drill movements. Once they have gotten used to the correct form, they can then work on improving their speed just like their game speed," Moal explains.

Trained Sports Agility Ladder is created for outdoor or indoor use and can be used even by little kids as long as they have adult supervision. The agility ladder is created using quality flat plastic rungs that can reduce the risk of ankle rolling. The equipment also comes with a carrying bag for added mobility so it can be taken with ease anywhere.
