Trained Sports CEO On Effective Exercise Tips

Chris Moal, CEO of sports equipment distributor Trained Sports, knows that determination and motivation are the key elements to maintaining a healthy and physically active lifestyle. Moal says that there are simple but effective exercise tips that can let a person keep an active lifestyle. One of these is setting time-specific and realistic goals for himself.

Moal explains, "Do not aim to do something that you know you are not capable of. You can instead focus on practicing healthy behaviors such as choosing fruits and veggies over chips for snacks or running 30 minutes a day when aiming to join marathons. Improving these behaviors little by little will someday make you healthier and more active."

Moal adds that looking for a buddy when getting into a fitness program can also add more fun and motivation. "If you know someone trustworthy who also looks forward to having a more active, healthier lifestyle, take this person as your buddy. Having a fitness buddy means that you can motivate each other or have someone to plan exercises and meals with you. Take the opportunity to improve your relationship and enjoy each other's company."

A busy schedule does not really mean no time for exercising. A gym membership or expensive exercise equipment is not necessary to be more physically fit. High intensity interval training or HIIT does not take up a lot of time but burns fats like crazy so busy people can still perform these to stay fit.

Moal also adds that performing simple floor exercises at home with specific target areas can help, too. Doing at least ten repetitions of each exercise is a good place to start. "You can then add intensity and repetitions later when trying to build strength," he says.
