"Being in your most active mode helps you burn fat more because your muscles are more efficient. Inactive muscles mean inefficient muscles that burn less fat," Moal explains.

Moal says that professional help is considered excellent especially for those who are just starting out. Professional trainers help determine the type of exercise that a person needs according to his goals and his level of fitness. Some people might need to work more on their flexibility and balance while others might need more cardiovascular exercises. Professional trainers can also determine a person's weak links and decide which ones to develop in order to have a better overall physical fitness.

Moal also warns that maintaining an active lifestyle also comes with challenges. With determination, a person should be able to overcome these challenges. When results are not immediately seen, patience would also help an individual to not easily give up. Results are sure to come in time, Moal says that if motivation is needed, try looking for drive and inspiration from stories of people who succeeded in their fitness goals.
