Firstly, always wash your car in the shade, hose down first then apply your wash (or wash and wax) solution with the chenille side of the mitt over wide panel areas and use the towel side and toe for tougher stains and hard to get to corners. Use two buckets, one with the wash solution and the other with clean fresh water to occasionally dip the mitt into and remove captured dirt. Once washed, hose down again, rinse and squeeze dry the mitt and use it to help dry the clean wash surface off. If you are applying wax you may need to do that before the surface is dry depending on which product you are using. For polish, wait until the surface is dry and then apply polish with the damp towel side of the mitt. Then ideally, take your dry mitt, use the towel side to polish first and then use the chenille side for a very final light buff to really make the surface gleam!"
