Leanne was informed to wash the baby's bottom gently and pat it dry with a soft towel. Too much rubbing could damage the delicate surface layer of the baby's skin. And Leanne also was told to try to let her baby go nappy-free as much as possible, so no need for always rush to get a fresh diaper on.

Leanne was advised that if the baby's skin is found to be dry, bath emollient solution should be added to the water when bathing the baby. Adding emollient to the water will make Leanne's baby slippery to handle, so needs to be extra-careful, and should use a diaper changing mat if possible.
