(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, May 11, 2015 ) Los Angeles, California -- People who have inactive lifestyles tend to experience weight problems more than people who regularly exercise. Unfortunately, adding more activities into their daily lives might be difficult. Trained Sports CEO, Chris Moal, discusses some of the ways a person can slowly change an inactive lifestyle into a more active one. Trained Sports is a sports distribution company that specializes in modern tools that can be used for all levels of physical fitness. The company exclusively distributes their tools on Amazon with their agility ladder being one of their tools.
Moal says that an effective way to make a physical activity more fun is to make it more social. "Try walking with someone you know. It could be a friend, a family, co-worker or your spouse. Doing a physical activity with people you know makes it more fun and less tiresome. You can also try joining a fitness class or gym. This is a great idea for beginners since a professional trainer will be able to see your progress."
Moal added that if a person desires to be more active, the first thing to consider is to reduce sitting time. These activities are those that are done in a passive way such as reading or watching TV. He says that a way to reduce these activities is to combine them with more active ones. For example, watching TV can be done while walking on the treadmill.
Having an exercise journal is useful in letting a person control the amount of physical activity performed each day. Physical activities including jogging, biking and walking even while doing errands must be included in the journal. He says, "Planning activities every day can reduce the possibility that you will forget your exercise. This is especially helpful for those people who plan to lose weight. The exercise journal should contain the time and the length of time that a physical activity is to be performed."
Lastly, Moal adds that giving rewards for goals that are achieved is a great way to motivate a person to push himself even more. He suggests setting particular rewards for short-term goals. The rewards should also be fitness related such as a new sports equipment or fitness gadget.
