(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, May 30, 2015 ) Shadow Hills, CA -- Abbey Lee Miller, the sassy-dance-choreographer-turned-reality-TV-star brings her East Coast teachings to the City of Angels. Abbey Lee started her dance company at the age of 13, after gaining an interest in the craft through the influence of her mother, dancer and choreographer Maryen Lorrain Miller. Since then, Abbey has gone on to teach an estimated 4 thousand dancers throughout her career and has become one of the most sought-after choreographers in Pittsburg. Abbey's teaching techniques are notorious – her strict methods and demand for perfection have often left her students in tears. However, in the world of dance and competition, that is the name of the game. Abbey Lee garnered national fame when her TV show Dance Moms premiered on Lifetime and became an instant success. The series highlights the highs and lows of the competitive dance season as the dancers pursue the ultimate National Dance title. Miller instructs her students while dealing with the over-the-top mothers who go to great lengths to help their children's dreams come true. The show captures the dynamic interplay between parent, teacher and student as Miller tries to bring out the best in her students. Miller's new dance studio will be based out of Santa Monica, and is busy in the construction phase in spite of Abbey currently shooting season 5 of her show. Step and Repeat LA is excited to be a part of this transition. They provided the backdrop, red carpet, gold stanchions and red ropes for what looks to be a star-studded spectacle of a Grand Opening.
