(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, June 18, 2015 ) Los Angeles, California -- Chris Moal of Trained Sports wants to share to customers the best tools that will help them track down their progress. Trained Sports is a sports tool distributor that focuses on convenient sports tools that can be used for any fitness level.
Moal says that the three most important tools that will help an individual evaluate his fitness progress include calipers, measuring tape and heart rate monitor. "I did not include a bathroom scale because weighing oneself is one of the worst methods of determining your progress. If you fail to see any changes on your weight, it might make you feel like a failure because muscle mass is higher than fat. You weight alone is also not a great way to determine if your body is really healthy," Moal explains.
Moal says that some body compositions can usually increase the risk to chronic diseases and that carrying extra fat in the midsection are truly linked towards increasing risks to cardiovascular risks. "The size of your waist is also a great way to determine insulin sensitivity because research has clearly shown that measuring waist line is one of the most effective ways to predict a person's risk for diabetes," Moal adds.
He says that waist circumference is among the best ways to see if a person has a weight problem and is also an indicator of intra-abdominal fat mass. He says that this is something that a weighing scale can't do.
He adds that monitoring percentage of body fat is also a good alternative as it can indicate how well a person is progressing in a fitness program and for this, a set of calipers will be needed. Lastly, Moal adds to the list a heart rate monitor that he considers is a good investment if someone is doing high intensity interval training in order to maximize benefits.
Trained Sports Resistance bands available on Amazon are a very portable tool that is simple to use for anyone of any fitness level.
