Los Angles Press Releases

(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, July 10, 2015 ) Los Angeles, CA -- Crossfit is one of the newest and popular sports taking the world by storm. What once started out as a simple "workout of the day" regime has transformed into an alternative powerlifting and bodybuilding workout method that has once couch potatoes turning into seemingly professional looking bodybuilders. However, Crossfit, like any other athletic sport, is not without its risk of injury.
There is a great debate among the Crossfit community as what the actual injury rate is, and some who have released statistics have been sued by Crossift themselves. At this time, it seems that the general consensus is that between 40-60% of Crossfit athletes who participate in Crossfit at least 5 day per week have suffered some type of serious injury. Unfortunately, there is not enough macro data to be able to tell how many of these individuals were doing moves correctly and how many of the injuries were related to the knee.
Since Crossfit incorporates moves such as deadlifts, snatches, squats and presses, knee pain is common-place and likely very frequent. Similarly to weightlifters and traditional bodybuilders, many Crossfit athletes often report knee pain and injuries in the patella as well as meniscus. As additional weight or "load" as added onto the knees, the layer of tissue that allows padding begins to wear down.
Many braces, sleeves and other relief supports exist to help relieve this type of injury, but very few, if any, actually assist in literally "forcing" the healing process, until now. Simple Health Global Co-Founder Sandy Cooper states "We firmly believe that the knee brace combination of tourmaline, which is a rare gemstone fabric that generates its own heat and has shown scientific evidence of healing the body; as well as the specialized magnetic therapy to enhance blood circulation; combined with up to 90% additional support will all work in concert in going a very long way to reduce these types of common Crossfit and weightlifting injuries in addition to inducing and actually creating the healing process once an injury or pain in the knee has taken place".
As Crossfit begins to gain more traction and popularity, more injuries to the knees such as these will become more common. Simple Health's self-heating knee sleeve with more support, magnetic therapy and a design that is centered specifically around Crossfit athletes will be watched very closely by trainers and the sports medicinal community. Simple Health Global has announced the official release of this uniquely designed knee brace to now be available and can be found exclusively on Amazon.
