(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, August 07, 2015 ) Los Angeles, California -- They are launching their second product a line of products they are developing to make kitchen chores easier and help people enjoy the cooking experience. Their Multi-Purpose Shears with a magnetic holder became available exclusively on Amazon yesterday. Lee and Gary Jordan, the owners of Love Your Kitchen, said, "Most people think that having a pair of scissors in the kitchen are only good for opening packaging. However, kitchen shears are a safer alternative than the sharp kitchen knives you would probably use to do the same task because special kitchen shears can have more cutting force. They are easier to use than a food processor, or knife and a cutting board."
Daniel Gritzer at SeriousEats.com points out that, "If a person is unsure how to use a knife for a task, it is usually a safer bet to use kitchen shears. For instance, snipping thin cuts of meat into pieces for stir-fry and not dulling a chef's knife when it slices through the meat and hits your cutting board."
When Love Your Kitchen owners were asked why they chose kitchen shears as their next product, they said, "The right pair of kitchen shears can be the most indispensable tool in the kitchen. A good pair of kitchen shears is not the same as a regular pair of scissors, because both blades are thicker, sturdier, and much more durable. You have more control with a good pair of kitchen shears."
"If you have the right pair, you can cut green onions, snip herbs, chop celery, slice pizza, cut meat (chicken, beef, etc) for stews, kabobs, shred cabbage, cut lettuce, gut and scale fish, cut kids' food into bite-sized pieces, trim fat from meat, strip herbs, cut slippery bacon, cut-up dried fruit for homemade granola, make pita triangles, trim the crust off of bread, trim dough, cut florets off broccoli and cauliflower, and cut green peppers into slices."
Laurie Colwin, food writer for Bon Appétit says, "Cut-up tomatoes right in the can. (It's easier if you drain the juice beforehand.) This works for any fruit or vegetable that comes in a can, like pineapple or red peppers."
When asked why they are selling their special product exclusively on Amazon, they said, "Amazon not only gives a customer a good view of the product on the product page, other customer feedback which helps with a purchase decision, they have extremely fast delivery."
