The Cylinder Knife Block is light in weight compared to traditional wooden blocks which are very heavy and have limited space for knives making this much more suitable as a replacement. It is made from polypropylene to give it strength and dimensional stability and is painted with a TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) coating for an elegant soft matt exterior feel.

SimPrium has used an innovative unique dual layer v-slot design that allows users to easily slide knives in and out of the holder. This mechanism keeps knives firmly in place preventing any occurrence of bending and provides protection to the blades at the same time. Other knife blocks use tightly packed plastic rods to hold knives inside their blocks, but after repetitive use, these rods get sliced by the blades over time and the plastic can sometimes end up in people's food. SimPrium has kept this in mind during the design phase of this product and wanted to deliver something unique which works really well and is nice to look at in the kitchen. Cleaning is very easy and can be done using running water or wipes. The exit hole at the bottom makes it easy to clean with running water from the top of the slots, preventing any bacteria or moisture to formulate.

The red exterior is bright and eye-catching and is sure to be the focal point in any kitchen, turning heads every time. The knife block measures 9 inches in height and is 4.3 inches wide and weighs just a 1lb.
