(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, December 23, 2015 ) Palmdale, CA -- It has now been several months since EAGems first moved into the Amazon.com market with their own brand of digital caliper. It was well received and quickly moved up in popularity, ranking high on Amazon's Best Sellers list.
EAGems owners did a test run of a couple other products they felt would fit in well with the Amazon market. One of those products was a natural stone agate pendant with crystals, imported from Brazil. They have sold the pendants through their own website for a number of years. So they packaged up a small batch and sent them off to Amazon as a test to see how well they would sell.
There is a history to the agate pendants. EAGems commonly refers to the rocks that these beautiful little pendants come from, as "Oco Geodes," also spelled "Occo" Geodes. A geode is a rock that has a cavity in it, a hollow spot, lined with crystals or other minerals. Some believe they are called Oco Geodes because their source was the Orinoco River in Brazil. But since oco means "hollow" in Portuguese, and that is the main language in Brazil, that could be a logical source of the name as well. EAGems carries these little pendants believing the variety and beauty of each unique piece is captivating and a real 'gem' whether in the collectable stone format, or in their jewelry creations.
In just a very short time of availability, they sold out through Amazon. EAGems is considering the test a success. Buyers can look for more of these 'gems' on Amazon again soon.
