Firstly they have made sure their lunchboxes are microwavable, and secondly they have made them freezable, hence they are suitable for meal prep in advance. Food can be stored in the freezer and reheated in a microwave at any time with no fear of the containers taking damage. Thirdly the company has also made sure their lunchboxes are suitable for dishwashing, so after using them they can go straight in to wash and will come out stain-free, again with no fear of the plastic warping.

Aside from the obvious uses of the lunch containers, Sunny Lunches interestingly points out further creative uses for the containers. "They are still essentially durable plastic containers with multiple compartments of reasonable size", explains Laura, "hence they can easily be used for storing arts and crafts, or toys to keep children distracted during long car trips, or simply any other odds and ends".
