(LosAngeles.CityRegions.Com, April 25, 2016 ) Hollywood, CA -- As announcement of the upcoming release of the new edition of Battlefield Earth by L. Ron Hubbard travels around the globe, sightings of the nine-foot-tall Terl, the alien security chief from the planet Psychlo, now includes the Tower of London in the United Kingdom. Having already been sighted in Silicon Valley, CA and Salt Lake City, UT, Terl is now taking news of the upcoming release of the new edition of Battlefield Earth which features him from the cover painting done by the king of illustration, Frank Frazetta.
Booksellers at the London Book Fair were treated to a glimpse of Terl as part of an advance promotion heralding the republication of this internationally acclaimed bestselling novel.
Taking place 1,000 years in a dystopian future where mankind is an endangered species, Hubbard writes as he describes the initial alien attack upon Earth (in part 10, chapter 4 of the story), "A strange object had appeared over London without any trace of where it came from. … "It had dropped a canister and within minutes the south of England was dead."
Not only will the new edition feature the original blockbuster novel, but it will now also include an interview done by the author in 1983 and published in the Rocky Mountain News, a Denver, CO newspaper chosen due to its proximity to the story's setting, several original handwritten notes describing aspects of the book, the Frazetta cover art and more.
And for those unable to wait, they can go to Amazon.com to preorder their copy.
